- ch - Chain
- hdc - half double crochet
- dc - Double Crochet
- sl st - Slip Stitch
- sp - Space
Pattern
ch6 join with sl st.
Round 1: ch3, 19dc in ring, join with sl st.
Round 2: ch3, dc in next st, ch2, *[dc in next stitch, dc in next st, ch2], repeat from * to end and join with sl st.
Round 3: ch3, 2dc in next ch2sp, ch2 and 2dc in same ch2sp, *[2dc ch2 2dc in next ch2sp], repeat from * to end counting your ch3 as your last dc, and join with sl st.
Round 4: ch3, *[7dc in next ch2sp, skip 2dc and sc in next sp] repeat from * to end of round counting your ch3 as your last dc, join with sl st, knot off and weave in your ends.
If you would like to create a loop to hang, simply ch12 and sl in first chain and then knot off and weave in your ends.
For hot pad, make two, and before finishing off 2nd one: join back sides together, sew through each stitch. To finish off, cut off abou 6" and pull thru, knot off and weave yarn end thru stitches to hide.
