The raised double post stacked shell stitch is basically the same as the double post stacked shell stitch, except you are substituting a front and rear post stitch instead of the double crochet stitchs between shell clusters. This gives more texture and depth to your crochet pattern.
Chain a multiple of 7 + 4 ch loosely
Row 1: In fourth ch from hook 1dc, skip 2ch 5dc in next ch, *[skip 2ch 1dc in each of the next 2 chs, skip 2ch 5dc in next ch], repeat from * to last 4ch, dc in each of the last 2ch's, ch3 and turn.
Row 2: RS - 1fpdc in next dc, *[skip 2dc, 5dc in next dc (top of 5dc cluster), skip 2dc, and 1fpdc in each of the next 2dc's], repeat from * to last 2 st's, 1fpdc, 1dc, ch3 and turn.
Row 3: WS - 1rpdc in next dc, *[skip 2dc, 5dc in next dc (top of 5dc cluster), skip 2dc, and 1rpdc in each of the next 2dc's], repeat from * to last 2 st's, 1rpdc, 1dc, ch3 and turn.
Repeat rows 2 & 3 for pattern.
